Move Over Coffee- Matcha Is In Style
Sorry coffee but you’re going to have to take a back seat, we have a new love affair in town and it’s a matcha made in heaven. This matcha latte recipe will detoxify your body while calming your mind and enhancing your mood. With it’s natural sweetness and refreshing earthy taste, matcha has easily become our number one morning necessity.
VIVE MEDISPA’S MATCHA RECIPE:
½ teaspoon Matcha (below for our favs)
1 tbsp hot water
Dash of Cinnamon
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp Ashwagandha* (optional)
Unsweetened Oat milk of your choice
1. Add matcha powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, ashwagandha and hot water into a mug
2. Whisk with a metal whisk, bamboo whisk or fork until completely dissolved
3. Once the matcha is dissolved, heat your unsweetened nut milk on stovetop or using a milk frother
4. Pour nut milk into your mug and enjoy!
*Ashwagandha is an ancient medical herb best known for reducing stress and anxiety. We recommend adding 1 tsp to reduce stress levels if you feel like your body and mind have been in overdrive.
